Zack Bacak, M.M.
Zack Bacak is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist performer, composer, and educator based in Boston, Massachusetts. A musician spanning every genre and style, Zack has cemented himself as a staple in the robust music scene throughout the northeast. As a performer, he has worked with the Portland Symphony Orchestra, Rhode Island Philharmonic, and the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. You can hear his multi instrumental abilities in various touring and local productions at the Boston Opera House, American Repertory Theater, and the Providence Performing Arts Center. Zack currently leads his own small group and
large jazz ensembles and is in the process of releasing his first records for both groups respectively.
In 2017 he was selected as the lead alto saxophonist of the Disneyland All-American College Band, a summer long program that brings together college students with some of the top musicians in their field. Zack has collaborated with a wide variety of artists, including John Clayton, Wycliffe Gordon, Leonard Slatkin, and even SNL’s Ana Gasteyer.
